Home Made PI Detector

Visit the Geotech Forum for all Hammerhead build info. Proper place to ask questions regarding build and fixing Pi metal detectors.
Bad solder joint, bridged solder joint. Wrong part soldered into a spot marked with a different value. Part installed wrong-backwards.
Defective part. If you built the Hammerhead as per instructions, then you had to have checked each circuit to make sure it was working before proceeding with the next circuit on the boards. If you just soldered all parts in place then powered up, pretty much guaranteed the Hammerhead would not work. The Hammerhead is not for beginners, it is an advanced project.
