Hot, Humid and silver

Yesterday I went back to the park that I did so good at last week and boy was it hot and humid. I was there for about 7 hours and I don't know how I lasted so long. I'm so wore out from yesterday that I am not doing much of anything today. I didn't find a lot of silver coins this time but I sure did good at finding silver jewelry. The Free Throw pendent was something different to find. I wish it would of had a year on it. The Cub scout ring was a first for me and also the Boy scout I found there last week. They must of had a lot of Scouts in that town over the years.
 
See by your signature you use the 505 and 10.5" MF DD coil but curiouys how deep your were finding them and how the TID's were.

Most of the older stuff I find at this place is 4" to 6" deep. The TID's are stable on some coins and not on the others, more so on the silvers then the coppers and nickels. The coppers and nickels are corroded so bad at this place. I know their has to be deeper coins at this place but with the ground being so dry I just can't get any depth.
 
Great finds as always Mark! :thumbup: You're a better man than I, braving the heat & humidity.

It's still bone dry here. Ground that typically stays damp all year is cracked. I've given up land detecting until we get some rain.
 
Very nice finds. It's the same hot, humid, no rain situation here in Indiana. Was out last week at a spot I've hunted before and found an old horseshoe, a horse shoe nail and a smashed bullet. Looked almost like a hollow point shot from a muzzle loader, but didn't have the mass. But I was digging about 4-6 inches deep and the ground is just dry as a bone and this was in the woods under canopy. Not seen it this dry for a long long time. Definitely need some rain. Left the horse shoe on a tree base as a marker for myself when I come back. I believe there was an old road through that area as there is a very old cemetery there. Too hot to stay out long, but at least it's a little cooler under the canopy!
