Well, the ground is definitely getting too hard to dig, so shifting to water hunting soon.. Lake Erie is about an hr away from me, so I'll pack a lunch and make a day out of it.. Too far for just an hr or two hunt..

Since no one uses cash for anything anymore. Pickins are so slim, you cant even find money to cover gas.
Probably not going too far as its now a waste of time and gas for very little reward.

Hardly anyone wears gold jewelry. 99% of the jewelry you find nowadays is just fake crap.

Thankfully I only live 2 miles from the beach, so its not too bad. Will need a good storm to venture further.

Yesterday was a gorgeous beach day but the crowd was really slim. So it may be another very lean year.

Here are my 2 finds for the last 2 days. Both junk

My hometown is about 11 sq miles including the university, still places to double check with the new machine. Otherwise will be spending time in the library and the Historical Society. There are old homesteads still about the county (1105 sq miles) that are no longer standing but show on the old county maps. Some are now on private property and some buried back on Forest Service ground. Planned trips now become drive to common ground and then take the ATV back to as close as possible and then hike if need be.
Adapt and get out there.

I plan to place rakes on my bike to hold my detector and shovel. I live in a small town and getting around will be easy.

Nice I live 2 minutes from the beach and I’ve decided to start going there in the evenings for jewelry before the beach sweeper in the AM

Lol good response I’ve been doing some recovery finding lot of fun and I get paid for my time.

The window for hunting it is slowly closing, but until it does I will continue to do the 40 min round trip daily. In total, I've recovered 119 silver coins from the spot, some pretty old, so I am going to pay the "pump" and hunt as long as I can on the spot. HH jim tn

Want to see the prices go down? , practice demand destruction! Stop buying ,going and doing and when they get the Depression they want maybe something will change but as long as the public continues to allow the environmental zealots to dictate conditions , nothing will change. Today we are approaching the levels Hillary would have reached had Trump not thrown a speed bump in their way. Instead of Hillary/Obama being able to turn the heat up slowly , Slowjoe is just cooking the frog all at once to catch up!

Guys things do not look good for for this hobby this gas prices are killing people.West coast business are all heading for Texas and Florida and bringing with them what they are running from!West coast gas prices reaching $7.00 a gallon all of this because of beetle brain BIDEN.Guess who is buying all this empty real estate that people are running from??The CHINESE are moving in and buying all the real estate .They are coming in like the border imagrants and no one could care less.This chinese are flying in from China as we speak! Good mercy guys what else is coming down the pike
