How are these for splash proofing?

I hae just upgraded my Sovereign with water resistant toggle switch booties. I looked at the manufacturers website and figured I could make my GQ a little bit more water resistant with these. What do you think?

N9030 is the one to use. This is the seal that I used on the Aquastar and Aquapulse controls, and they are very good.
The only thing with the GQ, is that the REJECT pot has a flat on it, and will need to be replaced with a pot with a round shaft.
These controls alread have an O ring under the knob for splash proofing, and I wouldn't think you have anything to gain by using a relatively expensive Hexseal. These are only really justified if you are making a submersible unit.
Eric.
