How can I set my Deus for Two Tone

Kevin B.

New member
I want the low tone for iron, and the hi tone for anything over iron. Is it possible. IF YES, then would someone please explain how. I have been trying but when I set my tone frequencies and breakpoints, it keeps running my DISC back up. I won't the DISC at ZERO so that I can hear stuff under the coil. Un until now, if I set the DISC at zero, then iron has a mid-tone sound..Thanks for any help that you can afford me.

Use 3 tone and set the first and second tone to a 200mhz and the last tone mhz to high tone and set the second and third tone breakpoint to the desired id number, any id number that is over the id number will come in at a high tone and any id number that is lower will come at a low iron tone. Remember to save after you modify the program.

In reponse to John in NC: I know how to hit the expert button and select two tone. But you cannot select 0 DISC in two tone because every tone, iron and all, will be hi tone. I wouldn't have posted the question if I hadn't of tried everything that I know to try already. FIND STUFF. It grieves me that our states touch.
And to FINDER82, thank you sir for your detailed reply. That is something that I can work with. And I appeciate your kindness for posting it.
I cannot say the same for the second poster. How do some of these folks find these forums is beyond me. This must be more than a fun hobby to some folks.

Sorry, I may have misunderstood your question or forgot how I did it, which was one of the first things i did when I received my DEUS.

If you choose to be offended, I can't do anything about it.

Cheers.

I was offended at first, because I couldn't tell the tone by which you wrote. That's the bad thing about communicating like this. I apologize for my reply to you. I take it back. You are probably a pretty good guy, and I just read something into what you posted. Please forgive me.
I just created me an awesome two-tone program with the breakpoint between tones at 21. Anything below 21 will sound off as iron. I am at zero disc and can recognize more depth. I also set my frequency at 12 because it seemed to hit my targets a bit harder and more noticeable. I used the G Maxx program and rearranged it to be my two tone relic hound. I chose a react of 1 because of what I read in the "More depth" thread and it does seem to hit harder on my deeper targets. I don't swing real fast anyway. I may go back to two on the reactivity. I really think that I have a good program to use on the site that I am hunting tomorrow where a skirmish occured and there could be bullets or buttons or more. And it has been pounded pretty hard so I will have to slow down. Thanks fellows.
