How can you tell "banned" words?

Hey guys: I recently tried to post something, but get an error message that I've used a "banned word". So I totally scroll through my post, and no words are 4 letter bad words at all. The error message does not high-light any words (so that the person receiving this message knows the word he shouldn't have used).

So how can I know the banned word (and thus choose a substitute word), so i can post?

thanx, Tom

I was told by ADMIN that there was a bug in the software yesterday. It happened to me several times when posting. If it continues, notify ADMIN.

Thanx Larry. I was able to deduce the "banned" word, by doing various test posts on this forum, and plugging in each section at a time of my intended post. Till finally I posted the banned word by the "process of elimination" :) And believe it or not, this was the banned word (I'll insert astericks, so it doesn't get banned again):

r*o*u*t*i*n*e*l*l*y

since when is that a bad word? Strange. You're right, something must be amiss with the system. Thanx.

My bad word yesterday was Minelab. We will see if it is fixed yet.

My bad word was also Minelab, when I posted a question in the Metal Detecting forum this morning around 7am.

Tom in CA .... it would'nt be because it is supposed to be spelled with one "L" and not two?

Yea," Minelab" was the word that would'nt let me post (banned) to on the Tesoro section. Figured it was a new newfangled rule or something. Must be just a pi--ed off Hacker or something .

HaRM

Heck, I didn't even post anything and it said I used a banned word - how can that happen? I was just trying to read some posts....

I'm not having that problem now though, at any time.
