How can you tell what version of software you have?

Just curious. I read a bit lower down on this forum that 6.7 is the latest. I have no idea how to tell what level I have.

Push the menu button in and flip the trigger forward, then turn the machine on while holding down the menu button and pushing the trigger forward.

Looks like I have 6.6. What was added with 6.7? I'm new to FT products, so I'm not sure of their upgrade policies (if any). Should I send it in for the latest update? Can you do that or is that not something they do? Is it even worth the effort?
