How come the new 15" coil...will not work on the F70???

How did Fisher get Captain Obvious to work for them ?

I'm sure the coil will work on the F70, and obviously it will work better on a machine with boost mode, but then again so will any of the coils

No, there was one offered for both lines.

TerraDigger: the monster T2 coil and the F75/F70 monster coil are different coils, not electrically compatible. The T2 was as you say, the first of our 15 inchers.

Crosby: T2 searchcoils of any kind have never been compatible with anything else or vice versa.

mascard1: thank you for posting what machines the 15 inch searchcoils are best suited to and why.

Dave, I meant that 15" coils were offered for both the T2 and F75 at about the same time, not that they were interchangeable.
