Thanks I have the stock 9” coil will it work well with it?squirrel1 said:I used mine yesterday for approx 4 hours in a relic field.
Used with round HF coil.
Dynamite performer.
Really speeds up recovery,,,especially when wearing full headphones with Deus.
Pointer really does have some good increment sensivity (audio) when pointer is approaching metal in holes, dirt, plugs.
Don't have to run sensitivity too high to get great performance either.
I have experienced problems using poi Pinter though with elliptical a HF coil.
So don't recommend to use with that particualr coil yet.
Hopefully version update will fix this discrepancy.
Cheers and HH.

Great thanks it will be here tomorrow just sold my etrac with the RNB battery and I went weeks without charging that it was crazy so I’ll be excited not to have to have a dead 9 volt battery in my pin pointer!LTimedigger said:Mkus, trust me you got a bargain. I won't use anything else now. It holds a charge forever although I put on the charger every couple of weeks. Gives a loud clear tone thats adjustable. Its not perfect. There is a time delay to connect and you have to get used to turning if off every time you pull an object to reconnect and of course it occasionally drops the phone or coil connection, but these are minor annoyances which hopefully 4.1 will address. Oh and I useit mainly with the HF elliptical and it works fine. I've had to have the carrot replaced because it tends to lock on a tone even when removed from the ground(the new one still does it) plus it eats batteries. Enjoy and HH.
Well I would think if you have a Deus like I do it’s a no brainer for me against the minelab and fisher because you can link it to the Deus and you can charge it on the same charger..Goldpick said:Whilst it does still have a few software niggles, I still really enjoy using the Mi-6 - both in wireless and standalone format. My other main pinpointer is the Garrett Carrot, and I find that tends to run away with a bit of falsing in mineralised areas, moreso than the Mi-6. Both great pinpointers, even if you take the mi-6 wireless capabilty out of the equation and use it with another brand of detector. Question is on how it will go up against Fisher and Minelab's new offerings when looking at value for money vs offered features and performance.
That’s good to hear thankschoppadude said:At the prices they are selling for now (got mine for $150 shipped) you cannot pass this deal up! I bought a second one for my second Deus unit. I have used my first one hard and heavy and it has never failed me.
