compare to the Aquastar and the Goldquest SS?

The CS-7 will get around 45% less depth then the Aquastar on a nickel. However by varying the Frequency control on the CS-7. You can tell if the target may be a gold ring. I have not used the Goldquest SS. I have 6 underwater machines now. But the new coming Garrett PI sure looks good so far.

There is a very noticeable sensitivity, and depth difference between the Aquastar, and the CS7. There really not in the same category. The Aquastar is a very high powered PI detector running at 10uS. minimum pulse delay.
The connection between the Goldquest SS , and the CS7 would be more in order, though there not close to each other performance wise. The CS7 was designed by Eric Foster for CScope. The Goldquest SS is Eric
