How good is the F70?

Thanks all, I believe I have my answer, looks like it will be the F75 for me. Just have to convince the wife of why I need to get another detector. That is much harder than deciding which one to get.
 
Revier, you joined an all ladies detecting club, didn't you....The're so distracted with your handsomeness, they forget what the're doing...you dog you. lol.
 
Overvoltage! :thumbup: Glad to hear you are going to give the F75 a try! I'm pretty sure it will pay for itself in a big quick hurry, (unlike those shoes your Wife probably bought that you never Knew about!):rofl:

Theres plenty of help here on this Forum once you get it and get ready to run...'course, some of the F75 users are half crazy and pretty old, so maybe us F70 boys will step in and help with advice! :crylol:..

These F's were designed not only for speed and power, but also ergonomically, so you will find many pleasurable relaxing days days swinging one, with no pain...and they hit and pay too, so thats a good thing..
FWIW, Steve O, REVIER, when I get ready, I'm gonna hunt "Red Hat" chicks...I'm pretty sure they have money, will think I'm a fine catch, let me detect all I want... not sure though...I'll get back to you on that...I'll see what my wife thinks about this idea...sort of like what Overvoltage is up against!:rofl:

I have the F75LTD and I love it. It chirps and beat boxes a little when you aren't going over any good targets but when it gets a good hit it is totally obvious.
It's fast recovery speed makes it great for finding good things in trashy areas (especially with the 5" coil. I have heard a lot of good things about the F70 and the T2 as well.
 
I've been running the f70 for about one month. I was at the park last weekend and watched a guy detect the bark chips in the play area. When he left I decided to see if he missed anything. I ended up with $4.74 in coin 1 Silver dime and a Sterling ring. I went over the same areas. He was using a whites detector. I really like the F70, Seems to be no matter where I go I can make the necessary adjustments for it to sing nicely.
Although I might upgrade to the DD coil. The concentric coil is pretty nice but it's fun to play around.
