How good are the factory presets on the Safari. Pretty Stable?
Also wondering how the Safari is on the beach and what about the stock coil? Decent?

I am trying to decide between the Safari and Sovergn GT

The standard coil is a good one,factory preset programes are ok,and it's easy to create and save your own.
There is little difference on depth between the saf & sov,but if any I think the sov just edges in front.
In trashy ground the saf is more versatile,and in 'trash density high' setting it separates out the targets,just sweep the coil very slow,reduce sensitivity or go auto,and run all metal,and you will hear whats down there,whereas the sov blurs it all a bit.
Both will run very well an the beach.
