Hey all. I manly beach hunt with the CZ-21 in the water. Was thinking the F5 would be a good dry sand machine.

Here is one link to a Mike Hillis hunt with the F5; he does very well with it!

These are my finds with the Fisher F5 week of 2/1/11. Searching on old church grounds from 1920s. As you can see alot of dress up items cufflinks, a gold crown, tie clips. metales all gold and silver. F5 settings were gain 70 thres +2
disc 4. For me the F5 works great.

Hi EZRider,
The F5 is great on gold jewelry. Excellent in fact.

oops....disclaimer...that little engagement ring wasn't found with the F5. That was a Tesoro find. However all the rest are F5 finds.

Thanks. Old churches have a lot of jewelry. People use to DRESS UP TO GO TO CHURCH IN THE OLD DAYS. Hard to get permission

How do you find the 5" DD-coil's performance on jewelry hunting when compared to stock or 11" DD-coil? Does it find thinner chains than the other coils? I will be getting one for this season and hope it will be more sensitive on the thin gold chains that people lose all the time.
