How is the F75 in urban environments?

Is it too noisy to take advantage of its great depth? I've gotten conflicting opinions...

I had my F75se with 5 inch coil working today right under fairly low power lines today and had no problems. I had nominal EMI and dropped sens to 60 and even went to 40 for one short section on a busy 4 lane street and studded with full size manhole covers directly in line where I was hunting the edge of the sidewalk. I was in boost with 0 disc and monotone. I can't say what I missed, but everything seemed to work fine and mid depth coins hit solid and IDd correctly. I returned to sens 80 and hit a dime @ 2 inches perfectly in mid field at the end of the hunt. This was in a field with a high school on one side, tract housing on two sides and the 4 lane street on the last side and ringed with power lines. I have been frustrated when using the 11 inch dd and non-boost/cache processes- crazy noisy!
