How long before 'gas rationing'?

I remember in England back in the 70s that we had gas rationing. License plate numbers were the determining thing - odd last number on the plate meant buting gas on odd days and we had ration stamp books. The military allotted us X number of gallons per month...anything beyond that was a problem....I can't remember if the prices were lower because we had the stamps and then had to pay more when the stamps ran out or if we paid the full price all the time but couldn't buy without the stamps...I think it was the latter case. I wound up buying a motorcycle over in England to save fuel only to be the target of cars that felt I should not be on their roads on 2 wheels.

This being a tourist town....these gas prices will not help to bring tourists up here. Those who own property up here won't be making as many trips to check on their properties either.

I think it is time for Christians to 'cry out to God' about the prices of gas and food...let God rebuke the devourer that is sucking out of our pockets what God has given us.

Back during World War II there was rationing for almost everything! Cliff and I still have our rationing books! A family were only allowed so much gas, sugar and so forth! When you ran out, too bad!!! I read that Syria could be planning to join Iraq in fighting the nations' militaries that are fighting to help free Iraqi people! This war is far from over and if it had not been for President Bush we would be facing a holocaust over here from the militant muslims! He did not start the war but needn't to stop them over there before they started their full Jeha? in America! Many of the militants that want to see America and Israel annilated are already here in groups just waiting for the chance to harm as many people as they can! If you don't think so, than you better think some more and open your eyes to what is going on all around in every nation!
