How long has the Racer been made ????

Was it used overseas for any length of time ?? Has the bugs been worked out if not been in use any length of time ???

Who is going to service the new to Us in USA Makro racer units ??............

It is just being released now and should be in transit to the states... Detector Electronics is the U.S. distributor.Test units were in a few lucky hands over here, and feedback was given to Makro.

Elton, what bugs are you referring to. I am not aware of any bugs..........I think you need to go to the F75 forum is you want to talk about a buggy machine. The Fors Core and Racer that I had a chance to try and work with both were excellent performing machines. It seems the Fors Core is getting great reviews from the people that own them and the Racer is due to ship soon and it won't be long when people will have their machines and start posting their results and feelings about that machine.

This forum is full of info..the racer is being tested or was in the US and Europe...they are getting their first shipments first but we are next...I have mine on order will have it in April the pro package. I have the deus and want a backup but some have told me I won't need the deus anymore...but that won't happen, I'm building a family again with my two detectors they will both help me to find more relics..Bug I didn't read about any but they took the testers input and ours and made some changes..they will really do well in the states and be in the top five in the near future

I see no need to have attacked the Fishers in your response either. NOT Cool !!''

I was simply wondering if all things on a new detector were worked out completely..and where would it need to go should some minor issues be found on the "NEW" release detector.

No knocking or anything of that nature.. In fact I am seriously looking at the Racer..

Did not attack Fisher, only stated a fact . Perhaps give the new Racer time to get released and time for folks to use them before we start assuming it has bugs etc.

I am looking for a new detector myself. I was looking at some nice reviews on youtube for the Racer actually. I was considering buying one. My concern is since this is made overseas, getting any kind of warranty work or fixes done would be a pain in the butt.

Joe, just search this forum for the words warranty or repairs. There are a number of posts about it and general customer awareness by Makro/Nokta. I have a Racer on order and am not the least concerned.
