How low can thieving slime go???

Out in front of our house on the parkway we have two beautiful, young, dogwood trees we planted years ago. At the base of each is a circle of decorative concrete blocks that have been there for years. Sometime in the past few days some crud swiped three of the blocks from one of the circles. Some slime balls are so low they could walk on stilts under a snake's belly.

Man that makes me so mad!!! A few years ago some scumbag stole a concrete goose that was on my parents front porch. Also me and my brother bought my ma 2 nice wooden benches for Mother's Day for their front porch 2 years ago, my dad put a chain connecting both of them to the guardrails just in case somebody wanted them for there own porch. Well not even a week later both benches were dragged away from the spot by the rails on each side of the porch. If it wasn't for the chains, they would of been stolen too. It sucks too, because they live in a nice town. Thieves just cruse around looking for easy stuff to steal, this is the world we live in... SAD!!!

that Goose didnt lay golden eggs by any chance did it ? Nah I hear ya its a shame that some find delight in knock'n stuff off but thats life hey artnt all you Americans pack'n a 375 to prevent this kinda behaviour ?

I have 3 shotguns (12guage), 1 rifle (7.62x54), & 1 pistol (1911 45ACP). But my parents don't like guns.

it is so sad too live in todays world :sadwalk:

I can top that one. I rode my bike to detect at a park (now I'll be the first to admit that it was on the bad side of town). I was only 50 feet from the bike and I got a signal and probed for it with my back turned. When I turned back around the bike was gone in a HUGE park and there was noone in sight. Thankfully, I only carried ONE metal detector.

Ummm, okay - how's that relate to this story? Gonna' shoot someone for stealing concrete? Seeing that you live in an EXTREMELY gun conscious State (can't even get a ccw there for all practical purposes) you would likely be having fun in Prison for quite some time after that, Military affiliated or not.

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you, pal. Jerks are all around us. East Coast, West Coast. North. South.

No gun control laws here in Vermont... Lots of deer hunters and not many break and entering, esp when the home is occupied...

it was probably kids with nuthin better to do... if you put em back... they'll just take em again.... i'd pull em all out so they got nuthin to steal....let em go bother somone else....OR.... put up survielance camera's like i did.... and press charges when you get em on tape...they dont come back after that either...:bouncy:

Did you read the very next post???

I might not shoot somebody for stealing concrete, but I can get them on the ground and break some bones. And whoes to say that they wont use the concrete to break in the house? Once 1 foot is through my window, I will blast them back all the way to the curb.

I thought about some wiseass question as to whether "the parkway" was that infamous "public strip' but there are way too many bricks flying around so I won't ! :poke:

That would be a funny sight!!!

Yeah you can't escape them. Years ago I had someone open up the back door on my car ( it was unlocked ) parked in the driveway and take my old work jacket. Didn't bother with the radio I carried to work or other valuables in the car. I figured the guy was cold and needed it.
