How many silvers & wheaties did you recover in the last year?------The wife & I hunt together and just finished up our hunt year (we figure our hunt year from 4/24 thru 4/23 each year).---And these figures are for both of us hunting (not just one person).----Anyway, we found 214 silvers & 744 wheaties for an average of 3.48 wheaties for every silver.-----Of the silver for the year, they consisted of: (1) Morgan dollar--(1) Peace dollar--(3) Walking Liberty halves--(1) Franklin half--(2) Barber quarters--(2) Standing Liberty quarters--(16) Wash. quarters--(1) Seated Liberty dime--(14) Barber dimes--(9 Mercury dimes & (75) Roosevelt dimes.-----That's pretty good for us & more importantly, we had "a blast" doing it! ---Most all of these finds were made with Etracs.---------Del

There are those missing silver! I figured you had to have more Mercs than that since they are the highest number of silver found in most peoples collection. Congrats to you both! That's a lot of digging.

Those are great numbers!

I only found 169 Silver in 2009 (2 Capped Bust, 12 Seated) - down from prior years.

But I did manage 293 IHs - highest year ever for me.

I typically don't count Wheats, just keep filling up OJ bottles!

last year I hunt with xterra 70 I dug the following

120 silver
57 injuns
550 wheats
4.58 wheats to 1 silver
not too bad for the x70, hope this year with etrac I dig a lot more

657 Silver Coins, over 3000 wheats in 2007 with my Explorer SE.

365 Silver, 1700 wheats in 2008, Explorer SE.

251 Silver, over 1000 wheats by May '09, then I got a relapse of fibromyalgia and haven't been able to detect since June '09.
