What is the difference in T2's since they started making them? I'm electronically challenged so keep it simple please.

Standard original ( Green & Black)

Camo with added Bp and cache modes.

All Black (SE) I guess is the term..and it is identical in electronics as the camo.

Note: Some earlier T2's came on in Discrimination..Revised started up in all metal ..

Looks like a T2 LTD is available ........... This is on Tek Web Page

Teknetics T2 Ltd

Oh..That is just factory revisions ... All work the same .. Small stuff that the factory keeps track of with the numbers..
My first T2 was a 6.00 my second was a 6.5 .. My Third was something different but all worked great..

I owned one of the original models; very early. It would detect as deep or than the Explorer at that time. You could identify targets to about 4". When you turned power off all settings were lost. I'm sure they are much more advanced now.

But what does it mean when someone says it's a 6.5 model or a 3.2 or stuff like that

The processors are flashed (or the ROM memory) with a program often referred to as "Software" sometimes these can be flashed or updated to a newer version, kind-a like a newer version of a computer program and sometimes they can't.

Computerized things will sometimes display a version number when you first turn them on (or early in the boot up). In the computer world people (or a lot of people) don't like to get version 1 of anything, version 1 would most likely be the first working version outside a beta version. As things move along and improvements are made, issues are found out, the programers of the software will either come up with an "Update" or in later models just set them up with a newer version, like
ver 1.1 or
ver 2.0
ect...
Sometimes these revisions may be little things that in a detector may not make it detect any better and could be any number of subtle changes or enhancements.
