Doing what I am doing, which is storing up Ammo And Guns because of the Warnings being sent out to do so Before its too late to get any. Like some are saying that they would like to have it set aside and 20 years later laugh at doing it than Not do it and in a few years from Now Not have the opportunity to get any Shells Or Any Guns ! I have being told by the Magazines and E Mails I am signed up with---DO IT NOW---I know I am not the only person thinking this way because if I was there would be LOTS Of ammo on the shelves---I go into a store that sells guns and they are low on a lot of types and brands and the Ammo shelves are Bone Dry a day after they get a shipment and speaking of supplies the stores tell me they can only get 1 box for the 40-50 they order---I have not bought a gun till this month for 20 years---About the same for Shells---I hope I can sell everything in 5-10 years because nothing happened-I guess we will see what DID Happen ?

and have what they feel is enough but remember Y2K as well.
It never happened but folks panicked because of the hype.

Well this hype is more realistic and is not a one day HYPE

This has been going on for hundreds of years and has banished many country's from rights already and is still going strong in the States.
The difference in the States is it will be met with a lot more opposition because we are home of the free and land of the brave

Being there on the day they get there (very small amount) of shells although it has taken me 3 months to do so and I had to go to many stores to do it---I knew I wanted to get a 9mm-40 and a 45 so I started to collect shells before I Bought the guns So I have 1000 rounds for each weapon---I just got 5 boxes of 40S and W yesterday BUT that was ALL they had of any caliber including Rifle shells---I do have to call before I go because so many stores have no Ammo at all not even Rifle--- Jeff I am glad to see there is lots of shells available somewhere in the country---but I wonder if they have what they advertise or say sorry they are back ordered at this time---Is there any--(Bi Mart)--stores back East because there dealer told me he spends a lot of his time trying to find enough Ammo to give each store a few boxes a week to try to have some boxes in the stores for there ammo sales---This week all they had on sale was 22 shells and when I went in on Tue. they only had 3 Boxes totaling 150 rounds the rest of the shelves were Bare------I am also wondering if its a west coast thing and no where else---Maybe we are just ahead of other areas in stocking up---If so, I do think it will happen in other areas sooner or later ?

and I will hold it till I can find a Deal---There mite be a problem tho because I have not seen a single box of that size for over a month---But I never know when I could run into a deal where I could be able to get them---Why don't you ask ELSON because I would not doubt that he has that many on hand if he has That Gun in his arsenal-Knowing him they mite be 20 years old though--As I said send the Cash and in do time I will find them---But there could be a cost overrun meaning you mite need to send additional funds

it it were me, I think I would go with the .308, I have shot both, both are good calibers, but the .308 won't tear your shoulder off when you shoot it like the 30-06 will do, and will also do just about anything that the 30-06 can do, and also has a wide range of bullets to play around with, whether buying or reloading, and I guarantee the 30-06 won't be any more accurate. Just my three cents worth. vic

[size=large]But the 30 06 is so versatile. You can shoot anything from .22 caliber Sabot loads up to 220 grain rhino stoppers. Plus the 30 06 ammo can be had from the factory in reduced loads, magnum loads, etc. I am not particularly recoil shy unless I'm shooting Dave's elephant gun (still got that photo Dave?). While living in Alaska I took several moose and bear with the 338 magnum. If you've never shot one of those, it kills on one end and cripples on the other, but the good thing is you only have to shoot once with good shot placement. I used to hunt deer with the 308 40 years ago and have no qualms about having one now, since this new rifle will only be used for deer hunting and if need be, tactical applications. It all comes down to the rifle I find and the price. I'm even considering a new Weatherby Vanguard from Wal Mart for a mere $390. I really like Mauser actions but I could live with a Weatherby Vanguard for what I'm using it for. [/size]

[size=large]African Buff taken with 30 06. I don't think I'd want to try that with a 308 unless I was in a very high tree, with a very big base.

Don't try to kid me, You have so many Donkeys; you could buy 20 boxes of Ammo for every Glock that was ever made---Question, What brand are your carry guns; As I understand you always carry (2) because you live in a tough neighbor hood

I just thought of what he said a few years ago and that was; His neighbors are so tough that every morning when he gets up he has to wash his face to get the Gunpowder off---He uses Lava Soap because Gunpowder is (Tough) also---I would not want to tangle with him because he is like Tombstone Arizona He is too (Tough) to Die---
