How many of you guys are using an sunray x-8 coil on your safari's ???

got a brand new one still in its plastic bag... wondering if I should break her open and get some use out of it....Do you think it will find coins from 8-10 inch depths??

YES-Go to the Sun-Ray forum and read the field test.I Use all three but probably use the X-5 more than the X-8. Usually if I take off the pro-coil I put on the X-5. I like the X-8 in the woods. But both are deep and seperate very well down here in TN. The X-12 works real good on the beach or in fields where there is'nt much trash. I'm sure you will like it if you use it. HH

Like hershey1, I find myself with the X5 coil more often. If I did'nt have the x5, I would use the x8 more often.
