Looking at getting a detector for relic hunting and coin hunting Looking hard at the CX plus since it has a true all metal mode then getting a Ace 250 as a back up.
Any info on the CX plus is greatly welcomed and thanks for your help.

Actually, I think the GTI 2500 has the true am mode as well. I'm no expert with them but maybe somebody can enlighten us. You may be able to get one machine to do both jobs.

I am looking for a good all arounf detector and not break the bank. The 2500 looks like it has a steep learning curve.

I use the Master Hunter CX Plus throughout the year. I am just using the stock coil, but I am thinking about getting a sniper coil for it too. The woods is my favorite place to use it in. It does have a true all metal mode like the GTI 2500. The GTI 2500 probably gets a little more depth then the CX, however, the CX costs less and is priced accordingly. Only the GTI 2500, the Scorpion and the Master Hunter CX have the true all met mode. The Master Hunter with the stock coil will beat the GTI 1500, ACE 250, GTP 1350 in depth using the same sized coil over the same target. When using it, I hunt in true all metal mode.

Below is a link to a quick operation of the Master Hunter Hunter CX Plus:

CX Plus is a good machine. I used one in Happy Camp California this year as a fellow miner had one which I got to play around with. Its good all rounder for sure. Easy to use. I enjoyed it so much I want to get one in my arsenal. But I just got an Infinium so I will use that awhile before I get another detector. Good luck.
