How many Yukon 77IB models exist???

I have a Yukon 771B, I don't know the s/n offhand, but I have a question... I got it used and free from a garage sale, and I noticed that it has three battery connections. One is labeled "A", one "B", and one is not labeled at all. There is a battery holder that holds four AA cell batteries... Would you be able to tell me how to connect batteries to this device?
 
There are 3, four cell battery holders for the 77B Compass. You should have 3 what look like 9volt snaps leads inside the battery box area. All three battery packs will fit.
