How metal detectors do you own??????

Hello Everyone......I've been detecting since 1978, have owed & used several different brands of detectors over the years.
Right now I own 6 detectors. Fisher 1265, Fisher 1266, Makro Red Racer, Whites MXT all pro, Teknetics G-2 & Teknetics Omega 8000 v-4.
The Omega is my favorite, I'm mostly a Civil War relic hunter and the Omega fitted with the NEL hunter coil is the best relic hunting machine I've ever used!
I'm always looking for the next new detector that may come along and replace my favorite, but so far the Omega is still the best for me and my kind of hunting.

Hello bulletman........Yes those Fisher 1265 & 1266 machines have found me some very nice relics over the years.
I got that 1265 new in 1985 and it was my main hunting detector for over 25 years, it was so good I didn't see a need to replace it.
Times change and the new detectors with tone i.d and vid meters slowly won me over, now I don't want to go back to those beep & dig Fisher machines.

Had six, down to 3 keepers, ctx,e trac and deus, traded my v3i sold one e trac and gave away the Titan 3000 that came free with my v3i

Currently own four but would eventually like to get it down to two. I could get by with that for the types of hunting that I do. Really though, I feel like I'm at my best when I hunt with just one for awhile. Once I start splitting my time between multiple machines, I just seem to lose some of that edge.

Been at this for 30+ years and have owned many units. I currently have 6 detectors: 2 Minelab CTX3030's, 2 XP Deus ( WS5 & WS4), AT Pro and Teknetics T2

Been detecting about a year and have three. A clunker from harbor freight an F5 and a compadre. Probably buying an old whites surfmasterII plus tomorrow. Really wanting a water machine for some lake spots. Dig it all......Noah

Around 17 at the moment.

At last count,,,8,,,
Do have an inbound AFA Signum.

Minelab CTX
2- Xp Deus
Makro Racer 2,
Nokta FORS Relic
Blisstool V6
Minelab XS explorer
Minelab GPX. 4500

3, an AT Pro, an Ace 250 (not for long though), and an ancient metrotech model 220. I also have a V3i on the way so maybe I could count that as my fourth.

I have owned several over the years mostly minelab xterras and a few whites. Right now I have three one I just got a few weeks ago the garret gta350. I also have a whites mxt and my xterra 70 with a ton of coils which is my main detector.

Had four, just sold my ATPro. Right now I have a CTX3030 and two Excaliburs. One 10" and one with a 12x10.

Kinda low on my inventory. Now... I have two.
Whites 6000di pro..... Free bie. N got lucky and repaired blown resistor on main circuit board..
New Garrett ATP.. No extra coils yet but will by spring! I hope...

Been Detecting about 17 years and have the 5 below. Most I owned. All I need is the Etrac and CZ-3D. May thin herd to those 2 as don't have as many spots as use to have.

As a octogenarian, I have one multi purpose XP Deus machine that can be turned into variants.

I have owned many detectors over the years, but they can easily just gather dust as modern technology takes over.

Happy Hunting,

Jerry.

I'm down to 7 now, 4 I use, 2 of them are vintage detectors that I hang onto for old-time's sake (White's Coinmaster 2db and 6000), and 1 that I keep just for a spare, a still new MXT All-Pro in case they ever stop making them.

The 4 I use regularly: White's V3i as my primary detector, MXT (original model with a few of my own custom modifications) for use in the heavy trash, an XL Pro for some relaxing old-time analog fun, and a Fisher Gold Bug Pro that I take on hikes in the mountains for nuggetshooting and checking out old homesteads.

But I've had another 2 dozen or so detectors pass through my hands over the years, Minelabs, Fishers, I've tried most of the models that have been around the last 20 or so years. Now I'm down to just the essentials and my favorites.
