How much overall depth does the GTI 2500 have compared to the 1350 or 1500?

Hey Garrett there users how much more depth does the gti 2500 got over the 1350 or 1500 and other than talking features what other stuff does the 2500 offer?

I'll been by the told by Garrett that the 2500 has better depth in "all metal mode" . The 250,1500 and 1350 doesn't have a true "All Metal Mode". I'll stand corrected to Uncle Willy.

The depth in discrimination is not that much greater but then in all metal that is a horse of a different color where you will find targets deeper than you want to dig.

I forgot to mention in my first post - depth is a fleeting term dependent on many things - coil size, soil conditions, wet or dry soil, etc. Given that all things are the same the 2500 will of course have the edge in discrimination and in all metal there is no competition.

Can you tell me how deep can you find a middle-size object with gti 2500 and 12,5 searchcoil, and with the treasure hound? apoxymately, with numbers, thank you!!!:beers:

By middle sized target, I assume you mean sized"C" which would be the size of a belt buckle. I ,personally, have dug targets of this size at a foot and a half or so. Not quite two feet. I've dug big old rusty tin cans at two feet. Now, this is with the 12.5" or 10"x14". The TreasureHound would ignore a size "C" target, but easily get a soda can at three feet.
Happy Hunting!:)
