How not to cut a plug....

This is just unbelievable...... I found it last night when I was bored. No wonder parks won't let us detect, it's guys like this....

I like the care he took digging the plug

I had a park attendant take me around a park one day and show me plugs two feet in diameter and then ask what was the idiot looking for. Not long ago I repaired a bunch of plugs at a school that were a foot in diameter. People should have to take some kind of test before they are allowed to purchase a detector. I have a whole list of horror stories from my 44 years in this hobby. It's incredible how mind numbing stupid some people can be. These people are not even remotely acquainted with just common sense

Yes when I first watched it last night I was pretty disgusted. Actually shocked...:surprised: Thankfully these 2 nimrods are in another country(I hope), but no matter where they are it's rediculous... I mean come on...:rage: I am by far a novice, but I respect the code of ethics in detecting to a T.

I would hope thats thier own yard or a farmers field! But then I wouldn't dig holes like that for coins even in a farmers field. If I dug like that in my own yard my wife would take away my yard pass!:garrett:

There are a few more on You Tube just as bad . I have come up with a gadjet that will alow you to remove a coin deep from a hole just slightly larger than your finger. Have been promoting my method for a few years, been using it for over 30 and never cut plugs in parks or manicured lawns. Soon as i field test this gadjet I may make a video..It won't be on You Tube as it will probably be longer than 10 minutes as I will be showing how to make these and use them along with another neat gadjet I just made. I will be giving these DVD.s away if I do make them,.all I ask is maybe reimburse me for postage. HH Ken

that really ticks me off :veryangry: the nerve of some people !! no wonder some places dont allow detecting on there property

Doesn't anyone know how to pin point?? The first target they dug was right on the surface... didn't even need to dig for that one. :(

A couple of dweebs makes it bad for the hobby

I know the 250s pinpointing is sometimes hard to understand, but come on!! Even when I first started hunting I didn't dig holes that big.

I saw this a long time ago. It's in Latvia I believe. The grass looks too raunchy for a park.

I guess it's a safe bet Garrett won't be using these two in their Ace 250 ads.

Along with a couple new brains they could also use a Propointer.

Perhaps we will have to call them subtracts instead! as they will subtract our right to detect. We had some goose in town a couple of years back that dug up a local park in the same manner. One of the club members saw him and gave him a rev up!
