How to carry multiple coils for the xp deus

Waterdog

Well-known member
If I carry a hf coil and a regular coil together will it hurt the coils ? How do you them in a vehicle ?
Thank you

I store all of my XP coils in a dedicated closet with the coils hanging next to each other on plastic hangers. No issues what so ever.
Coils stored together:
11 and 9” LF coils
9” Round and Elliptical HF Coils
Soon to add the 9” X35 Coil.

I store mine in the plastic case which I purchased from XP. The 9 inch and 11 inch coils are kept in their respective foam cutouts and the coils are nearly in contact with each other.

Have had that arrangement for two years and no issues with either coil.

Thank you for the replies
I was just thinking that with the coils on all the time that would be an issue

I have the ORX and 4 coils- round and elliptical hf coils
as well as 9” and 11” X35 coils. I store and carry the detector
in a modified tennis racket bad converted into a backpack I have
a second bag to carry just coils and I usually go out with two
coils -which two depends on the location I plan to hit. The racket
backpack fits two or even three coils plus detector and small shovel
with no trouble, and the coils just lay in one divided pocket. This
keeps the coils from clanging together while hiking to and from my
spots. I’m very easy on my equipment and it is well protected with
this type of backpack. Super light and comfortable also
