How to Clean Silver Coin?

Sometimes you could find coins that don't need to clean, but most of them are dirty after buried in the soil for a long time. Generally speaking, it is the best way that cleans them with a soft toothbrush, warm water and soap. There are also some special occasions. If the coins get stained or encrusted, you need to find another solution. Someone suggested that you could use electrolysis or the vinegar solution.

Line a glass pie plate with tin foil, put in baking soda ,then silver coins (not any touching nor coppers) add boiling water, fold tin foil over the coins,...leave over night...may have to repeat but does a bang up job!

Confused on if yo are asking or telling us how to clean silver? If you find a nice silver that's worth more than melt and more than just the memories of finding it, "DON'T TOUCH IT" send it off to be professionally cleaned and graded
