How to find MFG date of DFX

Treasurechic

Well-known member
I recently bought a used DFX it has the Eclipse 950 coil on it. The former owner dosnt know exactly when he bought it but in order to sell it I must be honest on its age. I cant find anywhere that has a mfg date on the thing! it has a sticker inside the battery comp. that has a barcode and a bunch of serial numbers, thats it. Any ideas?

Call White's with the serial number and they will tell you.

Thanks I figured that, but just wanted to make sure I didnt miss something on the machine.

Yep your barcode with numbers is it..... build date and model number

The serial number has four digits at the front. Of those numbers the first one is the year (3284) means 2003, 284th day of year. Next set is model number. Last set is number built that day.
