How to open Excalibur casing without destruction?

CC2_IN_CA

My Excalibur has developed a loose wire going to the coil
right where the wire entires the detector casing. After
inspection, it appears the plastic screw on connector
has been glued to the case at the factory.
.
How does one take off the coil connector from the case
without destroying the connector and possibly the case?
