how to return a class ring

I found a 1979 womens gray court owings Class ring and I have researched the school it looks like it only goes through middle school now. How would I go about finding the person it belongs too? There are initials on the ring "JBS" and I messaged the school and I am waiting to hear back from them but in the mean time wht should I look for to try and find the owner of this class ring? thanks for the help and tips

doing a google search shows that gray coat owings had a historical society you could also try contacting them. good luck
