How to run a concentric on highly mineralized ground in high trash area

Goodbaja

New member
So I have been giving the stock 7.5khz concentric coil a workout. I though I would try at the beach and of coarse it gets noisy and chatters at sens 20. So I remember seeing a guy on YouTube on a deck with nails and he lays a coin down and can pick it up well in 2 tones on the machine. So I decide to run 2 tones and the 2 tones are not enough to distinguish good targets so I swap to 4 tones and its ok but a lot of noises still. So I then try pattern 1 I believe( notched -8 and 4:geek: and run it and it is super quiet and more stable. So sensitivity can go up to 25 now to get a little depth. I run auto tracking cause gb numbers can go from 7 to 11 in just a few feet. Now I am literally cherry picking dimes between bottle caps. I am pulling quarters and Nickles in the water that I know other machines have walked over. The beaches here are littered with mega rusty nails from pallet fires on the beach. But the terra is only finding good clad and pull tabs which are ok to me. Hope you guys can try it out if you don't have a sniper 6inch.

So here's the breakdown.

Sensitivity 25
Ground balance 7-12 tracking(switch it off the second you hear a good signal)
Pattern 1
4 tones
