Ive read where people or having trouble with the knob rubbing against their side and moving the volume setting on the f70/patriot. some may already know this but you can take the knob off, buy a small O ring that's fits the shaft, put a little pressure on the knob as you tighten the set screw. you should be able to adjust the volume to your liking without the knob moving if it should rub against you. I don't own eather detector so I'm assuming the knob has a set screw, ive don't this with other detectors and it worked fine.'
