Someone wrote, "Wishlist: A clock on the (metal detector) display. Yes, I wear a watch and have a cell phone with me at all times but being that you spend a decent amount of time looking at the display, a clock would be a nice addition."
That is a good idea. Yes as we know a wrist watch interfers with the MDer coil when pinpointing SO yes a very simple digital clock built on to a metal detector screen is an ACE idea. That could be turned on and off but still run. How about a cell phone built into a metal detector and piped to the headphones.
ALSO I have attached my wrist watch around the MDer shaft which also works real good. It could be attached around the belt or the watch band threaded through a top shirt pocket button hole or just kept in your pocket which may fall out unless you have a zipper to button to prevent this.
OR another idea is to wear this type of Nurses FOB Watch that pins on the front of a jacket or shirt, they are commonly used by nurses and other medical professionals who can not wear wrist watch for a variety of reasons.
