out to another spot Thursday and met a couple of new detecting guys through my friend Ron. We did some detecting along the river in a preserve. I got a 1910 and 1930 Wheatie and a noce 1920 Merc. Went back there yesterday by myself and got a 1916 Merc but no mint mark of course. Gets the heart pounding til you see the reverse though. Also got an old fountain pen and 2 Buffalo's. I think I'll go back over there today for a while and see if I can get some more goodies. Welcome to the new people I have missed out on catching on there first post here. Sounds like a great place. I have been wanting to get out bad , but it is so dry here and the ground is harder than my leshe digger. Okay maybe not that hard.
