Carolyn and I have been working some but not as much as I thought we would...... We are enjoying being with each other and it is a pleasure having her visit me and talking a lot! My arthritis is really bothering me as it has been raining and cloudy for the last couple of days and turning cooler! My Dogwood tree's leaves are falling off faster than you can blink from all the wind we've been having, too! Been lurking and praying for those with prayer needs but won't be posting like I once did for awhile! Soooooo, no long-winded posts to read except this one! ;) :angel: God Bless! Ma Betty
 
the leaves are falling all over here too...and would be nice if (1) they weren't all wet and stuck to everything and (2) I could use the leaf blower to get rid of them...still on crutches and still no MRI or PT scheduled. (They hired someone that is doing maintenance - leaving me out of the picture - making me wonder if my stay at the hotel might end or if they know I can't do much but still using others to get things done cheaply). Just don't know. Only God does.

I hired a maintenance guy who is a master plumber and has an electrical license and even he is been given things to do not using his skills but instead this other guy is 'taking over' so to speak.

Looking for another job...well kinda hard to find one when one is still on crutches....who wants to hire a gimp?

Glad you two are doing things together and having fun too. Keep sending us forwards if you are not going to be on here much....at least we will know you are still thinking of us :thumbup:

Thanks Pete! Concerning your job and etc about all we can do is pray and place everything in God's hands! Just know He will never leave nor forsake you and His ways and His plan for each of us is far better than we can do by ourselves, soooo we lean on and trust in Him to be where He wants us to serve Him! Thanks Seeker 41 and we did....really enjoyed having her here but she left today and is home now! Said it sure poured down rain before she and her hasband got to Cuba, MO from Sullvan, MO where her son and family live! Still will be busy but I can do a box at a time and mark what is in it, so it won't be so hard to have a garage and moving sale and an auction before moving! My cousin said she auctioned off some furniture and also her house and she was satisfied with the check she was given by the Auctioneers! Something to think about when selling some of my furniture and my own home! Anyway God is with me and I know what is to be will be as long as I trust in Jesus! :angel: God Bless! Betty
 
Hi me son! I will be posting more once in awhile, as my sister has gone back home and I will be doing more sorting and packing as I am able to do so, for getting things ready to give away to charities, sell and move! Ma is just too slow and gets tired too easily! Hint.....don't collect so much and move while younger! :rofl: God Bless! Betty
 
Thank you 7centsworth and I will be back more often when I need to rest from working in the house and basement! Can't carry too much upstairs but will try to get my son and others to help me with that when the time comes to rent a U-Haul and get moved....I GUESS! Sometimes, I wonder if I will live long enough to move or be raptured up to Jesus before long! :rolleyes: :) God Bless! Betty
