All 10 coins. Cool but then the winds from California hit and it got bad. Got discouraged so went home.
Actually, I needed a reason to try my new Cannon camera and how to post pics. The lighting (my fault) was bad, otherwise it takes good shots. It won't take a close up any closer than 13 inches (says so in the booklet). Does anyone have a suggestion for this ? Guess I'll use my old Mavica for close shots. Thanks, Canon Powershot A560 - Steve in so az

ya got to do what you love to do! :)

...that's a banner day for me!!!

Have you tried macro mode? It should allow you to focus as close as 5 cm. Use your light box, get as close as you can possibly focus and then crop the image to enlarge it. You should get some very nice macros with that camera.

none here either! 63 degrees right now and the sun just went down!

You can download the digital version. It is like with my camera...you have to select the little flower icon to get into closeup mode.

A friend called and gave me the answer. When I get close I zoom out & in till I get it sharp. Here's my firstr attempt. I know the lighting and such can be improved but I believe I have a handle on it finally. Thanks, steve

maybe tomorrow I can get out...can actually see grass in places up here. Had rain and lightning earlier tonight too. Lots of fog though.

Congrats Steve - wishing ya great luck and skill in 2008.
