Hunt #34

New member
I stopped at the park on my way home. I really made up my mind I was going to hunt all day with minimum Disc. on the F70. Well the first 8 hits were good repeatable clean signals. All junk as the F70 indicated. So back to my old settings and off I went. 2 1/2 hours later I was all dug out. Pleased with my finds and went home. With these guys I am now over 1700 coins. I still think the F70 is a super coin machine. Still using the 6.5" coil. Thanks for putting up with me and Happy Trails....Z

Another great hunt for the Z! The past few days have been great Fall coin hunting weather...in the 50's windy and overcast, I wonder how much snow we will be getting in August to start hunting the sledding hills?
Mud

Jim I am over a $120 to be tumbled so far. Would like to to pick up around $300 this year and get a new Garrett pin pointer and the 5" coil for the F70.
Mud  I had my sweater for the first hour of the hunt the wind was a wee bit cool. I wasn't wiping my brow. The boys where sitting a the picnic table having their beer waiting for the meal program to open for free food. We always have some interesting talks and they ask me if I would like a beer with them. Metal detecting sure does have it's own experiences. You gotta love this hobby. You have to say you are out there with the real world... Thanks guys and Happy Trails....Z

Free food, interesting conversation, and BEER! What could be better than that? Do you look like Mr. Rogers in that sweater?
Mud

Mud I don't think I look like Mr. Rogers from the reactions I get from the families walking by. The mother usually says, here little Herbie give that poor old man this dollar so he can stop digging in the ground for pennies so he can eat... Happy Trails.....Z
