Went out this morning for another 5 hours at the ball fields. Football field area didn't give up much more than a few wheat cents, so worked some new grassy areas and found the 1944 Washington Quarter, 1952 Roosevelt Dime and a sterling silver men's ring with a fake blue stone in it that came out on washing. Met a new detecting buddy as well with plans to hit some colonial sites next. Will probably give the ball fields a rest till later in the year with plans to hit some other parks in the area of a similar age.
