hunt this evening

went for a while this evening. It`s been hot and dry here but with some good rain and a temp drop I just had to go..lol.. Find resulted in an 1897 v-nickel, and a new penny, dime and quarter. 1st v- nickel with my sovereign.

Congratulations! That's fantastic, Tom. I've found my share of awesome targets but, in over 20 years of hunting, I've not found a V-Nickle yet.

Nice find on the V-Nickel - I hear they were a short period mintage, and hard to locate.
