Hello all Going to Cancun in November. Staying on the north/smooth side. Anyone done well there? In the water, wet sand, or dry sand near the Volleyball courts? Did you stay in one area? or hit other hotel beaches? Any info would be appreciated. HH Gayle
 
i would take the ferry across to cozumel instead..... there may be complaints if you are on that side.... another good place to go is to drive down just south of AKUMAL and hunt there... theres good beaches past akumal about 4 - 5 miles..... isla mujeras is a good laid back place to go to..... lots of retired folk..... what tector are you taking????? i would seriously consider a minelab excal or definitely a detector pro wader
 
Was going to take my CZ20, if I get it back from the shop. Might have to take the excal. Thanks for the reply. We will be there a few days. HH Gayle
