Hunting out a County Fair grass parking lot. ( About a 100 yrs old)

Of course this has been well hunted through the times. Massive area. Has everything to make hunting a real challenge. Mowed can slaw, pull tabs, wadded aluminum. All the above falling into the Gold / Nickel area. There's plenty of iron (that's no problem) Then the occasional pile of dog crap.
The annual fair just finished up. I've hunted it about 5 times now. Never seen any other hunters. Grounds keeper said he hasn't either. So I got acres of gridded out, sloped hunting. Adverge depth, surface to maybe 6". So far, about $20 in clad. No bling or trinkets what so ever. Tobacco tins, dog collar, snaps, etc. Plenty of iffy signals, so digging a lot of trash. This is a very good place for the standard coil. So it's a unlimited area, One can hunt without having to worry about any hassle. Looking over all this ground, there's just gotta be a gold ring in there. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
There are some dead spots, but not many. No chance of arm fatigue, always digging. Think Im taking a short handle shovel next time.

Sounds similar to a place I'm hunting on & off at the moment!
Am into current day coins - why not - pays the grocery shop huh!
