Managed to squeeze out a few keepers amongst all the iron. T2 se/dst. 90 sens. 0 disc. 2c mode. 5 inch coil
 
Good day for sure, Bill. We went back to our non civil war spot. Didn't find any keepers but got permission on 40 more acres that has another old homesite and has never been hunted. Gonna hit up the civil war spot next week. Robert

40 acres! There's got to be a few hot spots in there. Go easy on me now, I'm diggin' 50 holes to find one bullet. At my age it's tough to keep up. :cry:

This is on top of 100 + acres with 2 homesites. The homeowner said he bought up the 40 acres recently and would take us to it the next time we want to hunt. He's about one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. Talk about being sore....I sure did feel it after we got home. First time out since last April. Good luck hunting. Robert
 
Not close to Normal at all Tony. Numbers to me are useless in heavy iron. That's why I enjoy the 2c mode. Once discovering I'm in thick iron using another mode I just switch over to 2c and dig every target I get signal on.

I have an older t-2 so I don't have 2c but you can do the same thing with any setting other than 1, just so you can hear the iron you can ignore it and dig all the others.
