Hunts 3+4 at the Ball Fields

Went back out yesterday and today for about total 10 hours at the old ball fields I posted on before (see First Hunt and Second Hunt of 2012 with Safari). Silver is still being found, although not at the same rate as during the first two hunts. For the two days this weekend I found a 1959-D Washington Quarter, four Barber Dimes (1905, 1906, 1910 and a heavily worn 1904, I think) and a 1940-something-S Mercury Dime that must have got hit by a lawn mower at it is bent through the middle). I had the most luck hunting an area between the baseball fields that is used for FB practice. The area has no grass and lots of trash. By going real slow I was able to find three of the Barbers and the Merc, as well as 10 Wheat Pennies and an Indian Head Penny. Most of the silver found in the area lacking grass came up as 37 or 38. I'm using the standard coil but will try the 6x9 sef coil next weekend in the areas with lots of trash.

Great looking silver.Thats a lot of barbers.Don't forget how rare those Barbers are.Took me quite a while to find some Barbers. They are a great looking coin. keep on digging I started hunting all my sites over but going s-l-o-w.I see how well this Safari works when you slow down.
