Hello All,
I was asked and took a new job around here. I’m now the Moderator for the XP Deus forum. Now I HAVE TO read your posts! 😂 Not that I don’t already. No other changes at all to this forum.
If I have something to say I will. If you force me to Moderate I will.
A lot of you have gotten to know me either in person at group events or teaching bootcamps and through the forums over the years. Metal Detecting has been a passion of mine for the last 28 years and I’ve enjoyed almost every minute of it. I’ve met some great people over the years and very few bad ones. I’m very pleased to see your finds and the story’s that go with them. I prefer this traditional format (old school) forum to FB posting. There’s just too many ass*****’s on the FB forums. But there’s a lot of detecting talked about over on FB so I still participate.
My detecting has always been a pursuit of Colonial finds at cellar holes and fields. I have only hunted a beach for one afternoon
and never hunted a park. I like club events with lots of people. I am a Barn Leader for the Colchester group and hunt England a couple times every year. I highly recommend it. I think everyone should participate in this great hobby in any way that they like 👍
Get out there.
