...but looking at some spiggots and cask taps below, I dunno <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug">
...it has a 5/8" standard thread, not reversed. Large cent (1") for scale.
 
They were a valve used on the old outside gas lights.I have found a couple.
 
...now get that out of your mind and think..... EAGLE! LOL
