I am certainly not an expert detector user ........ But I would like to say this

If you are looking for an upgrade detector, or are new and wanting to get a first detector............. Please take a look at the T2 series By Teknetics.

The T2 is a really nice detector that will give the seasoned person, and or a "NEWBIE" a really great experience detecting.

Turn on and go ease, or adjust to taste for your areas..... You can take it out the first time and hit 6 to 8 Coins.. That is fact......... not speculation...if the coins are where your detecting the T2 will find them.

Yes experience will prevail with any detector........ That too is a fact. But for easy operation with fantastic results the T2 is a detector you should take a look at............

I have used many detectors in thirty years +++........and still use several different brands............ However I can and will say this. For overall success the T2 has been a winner........... and I'm betting it would work well for you too.

Teknetics brought them down in price as well. Your right, the Teknetics T2 is an amazing machine and super deep.

perhaps the fastest circuit resetting speed of any detector out there. That is one of the reasons it does so well in a trashy site with that big 11" DD coil on it. With the small coil, it's one of the best trash hunters there is.

You boys know how I hunt...it looks like it would be great, does it have any distinguishing feature over the F70 I would need, or are they so close in makeup, theres not really any big difference??
Mud

If the SE had the 3rd and 4th tone I like for coin shooting, I would have one in my arsenal. I liked the regular T 2 I had almost as well as the regular F 75 I had. Mud, for good all around coin hunting, I really believe the Omega would be right down your alley. I like it better for pure coin shooting then I do the LTD. HH jim tn

ive been looking at the T2 SE also i hate to part with my best friend the f70 looking to get a little deeper should start a new thread on this forum i would like a little feedback before i do anything hh

Teknetics is asilver magnet ... My omega has outgunned many others in trashy areas . With the 5" coil i have pulled coins from UNDER trash due to it's unique ability to have partial dual tone characteristics when engaging 2 targets.
The 10" conecentric leaves alot to be desired and probably should be retired out.
With DD style loops this machine rocks.

This is my main park anf field machine .
And has gotten the deep silver.

A lot more depth is one LOL

Elton.....yes the T2 is awesome on recovery speed. I owned one. However, when the Omega is outfitted with the 11" & 5" DD coils...it rivals the T2 in recovery speed/target isolation. I got that straight from the factory. Is the T2 a tiny bit faster vs Omega with DD..yes...but the difference is so minute, I doubt it makes any significant difference in target acquisition/isolation. The T2 will get a little more depth...and that is very important to some hunters.....plus its a hell of a gold prospecting machine....with its true 0 discrimination.
I still insist a Omega with DD coils is 90% a T2.......IMHO.....the other 10% difference falls in the areas of coinshooting....relic hunting.....prospecting....each unit being superior in its 10% area.
