I am curious about depth on the new machine

I am hearing a lot about being able to connect it to a PC, but what I haven't heard is if there is a depth increase, or better target id etc. It looks like a really nice machine, but I am waiting on a list of "upgrades" over the SE Pro. I can't wait to hear some folks that have access to both machines get on here and give them a good work out. I am definitely a future buyer of one of these two machines, but with today's economy and the price of EVERYTHING going up, I want to know exactly what I am getting for the extra $$$. If the USB just adds a more comfortable way of setting it up, I'll take the Pro. However, if they made a depth increase, and updated the filters, or some other something that will find more goodies, then I will be skipping lunch to save the extra $$. HH all Joe

My guess is that there is a lot of people reading this that wants to speak out load.

There must be a number of testers having an E-Trac and not beeing able to speak cause to release date policy.

From the specs it seems to be much better at recovery speed then the previous FBS s, the prosessor is a fast one.

Depth, I dont know. But Minelab FBS are deep. My guess is that most people will find more finds with faster recovery speed then with 1 or 2 inch more depth.

Could be true, I know I have to sweep the Excal 2 pretty slow due to its processing speed. However, given that I am not in a hurry doing the relic thing, I would gladly trade some recovery speed for a couple inches deeper than the last guy . I can't wait till the speculation ends, and the facts start coming in!! HH Joe

I was talking to Las Vegas the other day and was told there is a noticeable increase in the depth, especially at the salt beaches. :hot:
