A little way back a child was at a lake nearby. he was on the beach playing with the rocks when he found a rock with a real nice gold vein running through it. Everyone was calling it a fluke. Now another child was at this same lake with family doing the same thing, playing with the rocks on the beach when he came across a nugget weighing in around 1.5 ounces. the nugget was found on the oppisite side of the lake as the gold vein, Whats the odds of that? To me it suggests gold is all around that lake. am I wrong? I am ssoooo ready to head up there and start playing with the rocks lol....Theres still gold in them thar hills.

There is an old poem, I think it is called the "Call of the Yukon" that describes our feelings quite well.

Here is a link to a previous post by me and it will help you figure out if there has been and/or is Gold occurances in that area.

Start checking those rocks, dobbie, as soon as you can, because there are probably other gemstones there besides gold! Sounds like it is a good place to detect and rockhunt! Good luck and God Bless.....go get da gold from dat lake which washes down from dem dar hills! :smile! God Bless! Betty
