I am heading to the Northeast US, would like to hunt with one or two of you guys

I am cross-posting this from the ETrac group, as I also love my Explorers......

I am leaving next week, for the Northeast, to work as an insurance adjuster, and I would like to try and meet up with one or two detectorists along the way, or after I arrive, to hunt in some older parts of our country. I have never driven up there before, always flown, but I just bought a new 32 ft travel trailer (Forest River Flagstaff V-Cross), and will be towing it with me. I am showing my route below. If any of you folks in the older part of our country that I will be passing through wouldn't mind sharing a hunt with a fellow forum member, I would deeply appreciate your time. I'll even buy you lunch......or dinner.

I plan on hunting while up there, once I get caught up with my files......I will most likely be in the New Jersey/Virginia/Vermont part of the country. Not sure which yet, but I would love to hunt any of them.

So, any takers out there? I will be takin my Etrac and my Excallibur II with me, so I can do whatever type of hunting I want.....

Well, if you could make your way through NC via I-40 I would invite you to a hunt that has produced some nice silver and so far one Cival War era coin. Just yesterday I plugged a 1864 2 cent nickel and a copper coin with the a farm stamp.I have also found Mercury dimes,Morgan dimes, wheaties and a nice 1915 Morgan Half, a couple of Old Timer knives. This farm is huge and has lots of potential. I have hardly scratched the surface of this farm yet, only gained permission just this past spring.It is equipped with a slave graveyard and slave house that still stands. If you can find your way to Wilson NC, let me know. Its a little off your route, but I'm sure you woud enjoy the hunt. Take a look at my latest post."A couple of old finds" on the Explorer form for today. I can hadly wait to get in the field after the tobacco harvest. If you are interested just shoot me an IM.

Right now, I am planning on leaving this coming Tuesday, and meander my way toward the North East.......detecting my way to work.....
